The invention of jigsaw music composition

Jigsaw music is sound and vision transformed into an interactive collective experience. Instead of a single static track, Robert's original binaural compositions are dismantled into separate elements, paired with slow-motion crystal projections, and rebuilt by you to create the evolving soundtrack of our shared lives.

Deconstructing sound and slow-motion light

A standard piece of music is simply one track tied to one video. Jigsaw composition breaks this mould entirely. I take Robert's original binaural soundscapes and divide them into discrete musical fragments — deep resonant hums, shimmering chimes, and meditative breaths. Each sonic element is married to a bespoke slow-motion movie of historic crystal sculptures glowing in deep ruby, vibrant emerald, and ocean blue. On their own, each loop is an ambient whisper; played in parallel, they interlock like an intricate visual orchestra.

You become the composer of the dome

Presented as eight distinct visual instruments across the screen, each fragment operates on its own temporal cycle. You hold total control over the composition: trigger one loop, combine three, or engage all eight at once. Scrub forward, adjust volumes, and layer textures freely. As the visual frequencies alter your perception of the audio, your mind enters the theta state — that serene, contemplative threshold between waking and dreaming where every combination forms an entirely unique, personal symphony.

Reimagining historic art for shared online immersion

By importing multiple music compositions under newly reimagined films of my historic art portfolio, we bring decades of sculpture and projection into a live, interactive future. This experience is designed purely for online exploration. Visitors can launch multiple players across our jigsaw pages simultaneously, experimenting with different sync points to invent new harmonised movements. It is an open invitation to listen, create, and feel the soundtrack of life together from anywhere in the world.
