Dual symphonies and layered sound

Jigsaw music originated when Robert composed an original symphony, drew inspiration from it to write another, and continued building soundscapes in sequence. Burned to CD and played simultaneously across two hi-fi systems with four speakers, these interlocking recordings complimented each other, letting listeners start, pause, and overlap tracks to generate endless variations of the underlying music.
